Which PIP Activities Does ME/CFS Affect?

Washing and bathing

  • Descriptor 4f: Cannot wash and bathe at all and needs another person to do so — 8 points (e.g. complete paralysis, severe ME)

Moving around

  • Descriptor 12c: Can stand and move more than 20 metres but no more than 50 metres — 8 points (e.g. severe pain, Post-Exertional Malaise)
